Q:Does it offer staff dormitory in the zone?

A:Cambodian staff dormitories are built in SSEZ, and it costs $5 per month for one person.

Q:Can foreigner work in the zone?

A:At present the main source of labors come from Sihanoukville Province. The population of Sihanoukville province and the surrounding reaches 1 million, and the labors are younger. The government will hold fairs at any time to coordinate the recruitment. Also hiring 10% foreign labor is permitted.

Q:Can the equipment and materials be imported before the company procedures completed?

A:Customs clearance can be transacted in advance after the final registration certificate and VAT certificate gained.

Q:How to get the certificate of land?

A:It is not suggested because the cost will be rather expensive. But you can go to Notarization Department for international notarization.

Q:How to obtain the registration formalities in SSEZ?

The regulation time for conditional registration certificate is in 3 working days, and ultimately registration certificate in 28 working days, but the actual time will be about 2 to 3 months. The total cost is $8750, and the articles of association should be signed by shareholders.

Q:What is the cost from SSEZ to port and the fee of customs clearance?

A:It is 12km from SSEZ to Sihanoukville port, the customs clearance of 40-foot container costs about $650, $90 freight included. The customs clearance of 20-foot container is about $550, $60 freight included.
