In January 2010, Hun Sen Avenue was completed.

In July 2010, the first department of one-stop service settled in.

In November 2011, the comprehensive service center building opened.

In 2013, SSEZ connected to the provincial transmission grid instead of diesel power.

In June 2016, SSEZ introduced exactly 100 enterprises.

In February 2017, the sewage treatment plant in SSEZ was officially operated.

In July 2017, the Fire Station was opened in SSEZ.

In September 2017, the Health Service Center was officially operated.

In January 2018, the Neighborhood Center was put into use.

In March 2018, Preah Sihanouk Cambodia-China Friendship Polytechnic Institute began enrolling students.

In May 2019, the thermal power plant in SSEZ started construction.

In December 2019, the 50MW high-voltage substation officially supplied power to SSEZ.

In December 2019, Sihanoukville Institute of Business and Technology was officially opened.

In June 2020, 6 dormitory buildings for 1^st phase were completed and put into use.

In December 2022, the thermal power plant stared operation.
