Even though the construction of “hardware” such as basic facilities is the most significant condition in marketing and investment for the SSEZ Company, a healthy and stable working team is the most important production factor for entered companies and it decides the healthy and sustainable development of them as well. Therefore, the SSEZ Company put the health and security of employees of companies in the first position all the time. On 28th Nov. 2013, invited by the SSEZ company, the Labor Department of Sihanoukville Province conducted a topic training called “Health and Security” in Training Centre for the third times. More than 40 directors of entered companies participated in this training programs.
Ms. DAI said the health and safety of workers is the first and foremost condition for the favorable operation of companies. Because of its importance, we arranged this kind of training for several times and invited the leaders and specialists of the Labor Department to give lessons voluntarily. She hoped that all staff could cherish this opportunity, listen carefully and adopt this knowledge into daily work. Ms. DAI showed her thanks for the support and help from the Sihanoukville Labor Department. She said the training classes which have been conducted recently are the r vocational skills training. In the near future the training center will be expended to provide better services for the entered enterprises.
The director of the Sihanoukville Labor Department said the health and personal safety is very important and relates to the happiness of the whole families of every staff. He hoped the representatives of the enterprises listen to the classes carefully and achieve a better performance in arranging employees’ health and security in the future.
The full-time officials of the Sihanoukville Labor Department used PPT and cases to explain the importance of the health and security, the dangers in the working places, the classification and identification of the nature of the risk in the daily work, the safety matters and protecting measures in the equipment operation, the education and training of new employees, the arrangement of sticking the warning signs and safety signs, the establishment and improvement the health clinic, the providing of more comfortable working places and the trainings about health of standing and sitting positions. Moreover, other teaching methods were adopted such as quiz and preemptive answer which helped the representatives to have a deeper impression on the training contents. The atmosphere in classes was active and the wonderful representation of officials won the warm applause from representatives frequently.
After the classes, led by the corporate management of SSEZ and officials of the Sihanoukville Labor Department, all representatives went to two companies and made a simulating check with learnt information to consolidate the training results. |
